Congratulations with the blockade raising day!
From the bottom of our heart we would like to congratulate all the citizens and guests of the city with the sacred holiday – the day of raising the blockade from Leningrad. 66 years pasted from the time when on the 27th of January 1944 nine hundred long days and nights of heroic city’s defence were over.
Overcoming hunger and cold weather, the citizens have been defending their city. Heroic deed of that people will always remain as an example of outstanding courage, firmness and unbending will to win. One of the important things about this day is that there is no family in our city that was not concerned with the blockade.
We are eternally indebted to those people who saved the city and our independence with the cost of their lifes!
