Grand openining of exhibition by Iskander Huzin

Dear Friends!

Restaurant “La Presse” and the hotel Nevsky Forum pleased to announce an exhibition and sale of works by the artist Iskander Huzin. The name of exhibition is “Metaphysics of the subject”.  The exhibition and sale opens on July 1 2010 at 19.00 in the restaurant “La Presse” at: Nevsky Prospect, 69.

Iskander Huzin works, mainly in the field of still life. Quests of the artist concentrated on searching for the impact of color texture - still lives are distinguished poetically contemplative mood, a variety of expressive means, wealth and sophistication of color gradations. Models for the tracks are ordinary things together in close groups or aligned in strict parallel lines along the edge of the table. However, in the still-life artist’s real space combined with speculative, the world of real objects - the metaphysics of space-vision of space-sleep, where the subtle textural and colorful transitions create a thin associative fabric, generating the changing images. Thus, there is a harmonious combination of rhythmic repetitive ordering items from the variability of colors.
As a basis the author often uses the unusual texture of the paper sheets with hand-worn and torn edges. In itself, this paper - a special art space, diverse and unpredictable. Uneven thickness of paper hand-made bears traces of the tool wizard, and furrows and fiber show through for fragile items like prints of life. The significance of the imagination, the moment of “randomness” fantasy - important components of author’s style.

Opening of the exhibition and sale of works Iskander Huzin held June 1, 2010 at 19.00 in the restaurant “La Presse” at: Nevsky Prospect, 69. Selling exhibition will continue until July 1, 2010. During this time, visitors to the restaurant “La Presse” and guests “Nevsky Forum” may be familiar with the works of the artist in the halls of the restaurant in the public domain, however some art works could be sold for your private collection.
