«Valka Hotels Group» small-hotel chain became nominee of prestigious city contest «Social responsibility of the business».
Our company, starting from 2009, takes active part in charitable life of the city: donation boxes for the people with oncological diseases and for the children found in a hard life situation, are placed in the hotels and in the offices of our partners. Also we organized visits to children’s homes where we planted fruit trees together with the children. After planting the trees, tea party and master-classes were organized. In addition the company took part in the project «Happy postcard. From heart to heart» by giving presents to private philanthropists and assigning lots for auction. All the money from auction were spent for the project of vocational guidance and social adaptation of the children from children’s homes.
Lots of events were spent together with «Valka Hotels Group» in 2009 but the most important thing is that we are not going to stop our activity. We will continue our work in order to help children found in a hard life situation!
