How to get visa support?

All foreign citizens visiting Russian Federation should have a passport and visa valid for the whole period of your stay.

It is not a secret that receipting Russian visa is quite difficult procedure and it takes a lot of time. That is why we recommend you to prepare collection of documents beforehand.

The documents – visa and passport - will be checked at the airport on entering and departure Russian Federation, while checking-in at the hotel, boarding on the train and ships on local and international lines.

There are different types of visa, which are depend upon your purpose of visit, for example: tourism, business, studying, working, transit, diplomatic and some another.

It is possible to get a visa for a single entry visit or multiple visas for the period from some days until one year.

Russian visa is issued by Russian Embassy in the country of your citizen or residence in virtue to the official invitation letter.

The following documents should be presented to the Russian Embassy:

- Filled in application form (the purpose should by specify as “tourism”)
- Passport valid 6 month after your departure from Russian Federation with 2 pages for Russian Visa
- One photo (3 x 4 cm)
- Visa Support Documents (Hotel Confirmation and voucher). The Embassy has the right to ask for the original of invitation.

The list of documents can be enlarged for citizens of migration risk countries, such as Algeria, Angola, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Jordan, India, Iraq, Iran, China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Lebanon, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ruanda, Syria, Somalia, Chad, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia etc.

Consulate fee for visa is paid in Consular Department of Russian Embassy in the country where visa is received; the size of fee is different in every country and depends on the term of procurement of visa.

According to Russian Federation Migration Policy, each foreign guest should be registered.

Registration is made within 24hours from the arrival of a foreign guest at the hotel. This service is free at Nevsky Forum Hotel.
